IIT Kanpur will soon post the JEE Advanced 2025 registration notification on its official website jeeadv.ac.in. JEE Advanced registration 2025 is expected to be done online only. Candidates who qualify JEE Mains exam 2025 and top 2,50,000 candidates can apply for the JEE Advanced exam. following steps include basic registration, attachment of documents, payment of the registration fee.   • Payments made with credit card, debit card or Internet Banking/UPI: After the user chooses "Pay Registration Fee", the system will show a variety of payment gateways. JEE Advanced Eligibility - Who is Eligible for JEE Advanced 2025

To find out the eligibility criteria and to take the test to be eligible, you must check the eligibility requirements below:

Conditions for Eligibility Indian Nationals and OCI/PIO Candidates who have obtained an OCI/PIO card on or before March 4 2021:

Perform in JEE Mains: Candidates must be in the most 250,000 candidates who have been successful (including every category) in the BE/BTech exam from JEE Main 2025. GEN-EWS candidates will be shortlisted as an average of 10%. 27% is reserved for OBC-NCL, 15% for SC, and 7.5% for ST, with the remaining 40.5% open to all.. In each of these five groups, 5 percent of horizontal reservation is made available to PwD candidates.

The following table outlines the order in which we select the top candidates from diverse categories, according to their performance on the BE/BTech section from JEE Main as per previous year.

  • Candidates must be born after October 1st January 2000. Age relaxation of five years is provided the SC, ST, and PwD candidates, i.e. the candidates must have been born after the 1st of October, 1995.
  • Candidates can take JEE (Advanced) up to a maximum of twice in 2 consecutive years.
  • Candidates must have appeared in the class XII (or similar) examination for the very first time between 2024 and 2025, with the subjects Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
  • The candidate should not be admitted to an IIT regardless of whether or not the applicant continued to participate in the program OR had accepted an IIT seat through making a report "online" / at a "reporting centre" in the past.

Who is eligible to register as a foreign national or OCI/PIO candidate for JEE Advanced?

Foreign Candidates:

  • Candidates who are not residents of India (by birth or naturalized) (but not overseas Citizens of India / Persons of Indian Origin (OCI/PIO) applicants who obtained an OCI/PIO card prior to or on 04.03.2021) will be regarded as foreign nationals.
  • Foreign national candidates who apply for JEE Advanced 2025 do not have to take JEE Main 2025. They could apply to take JEE (Advanced) 2025 on their own provided they meet the other eligibility requirements listed below.
  • All candidates from foreign countries are considered in conjunction with, but not as part of the 250,000 Indian nationals who meet the requirements to take part in JEE (Advanced) 2025.
  • The seats assigned to foreign nationals are supernumerary and have a limit of 10% of the total number of seats in each course. These candidates are not eligible for reserved seats under the GEN-EWS, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, and PwD categories/sub-categories specified in the JEE Advanced 2025 Information Brochure.. There are no supernumerary seats or sub-categories reserved for females from the supernumerary seats of foreign nationals.

OCI/PIO Candidates:

According to the decision made by the Honourable Supreme Court of India on February 3, 2023, in the Writ Petition (Civil) 891/2021. OCI/PIO applicants who received OCI/PIO cards after March 4, 2021, are deemed foreign nationals and must fulfill all eligibility standards applicable to all foreign nationals.

According to the decision of 03 February 2023 taken by the Honourable Supreme Court of India in the Writ Petition (Civil) 891/2021 and the OCI/PIO candidates who had obtained OCI/PIO cards prior to 04.03.2021 will be deemed to be Indian citizens and must satisfy all eligibility requirements that apply to all Indian citizen.

Payment Procedure for SAARC and Non-SAARC Exam Centre Candidates
