NEET Counselling 2024
NEET counseling 2024 may tentatively start from July 2024. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), the governing body for counselling, is expected to declare the counselling date for NEET 2024 on July 6, 2024, a week after the announcement of the NEET result 2024 for the exam retake. The MCC will publish the NEET 2024 counseling schedule in PDF format, along with the release of their information bulletin. They will also provide an update on the MCC NEET UG counselling portal.
After the NEET 2024 results were announced on June 4, 2024, several questions came up over the discrepancies in the results and a significant number of NEET UG 2024 high scorers. At the Supreme Court hearing about the NEET 2024 results dispute involving the National Testing Agency (NTA), it was explicitly established that the NEET 2024 counselling process is not being delayed or withheld. The counselling will be carried out by the MCC schedule to guarantee a smooth and timely admission process.
The NEET 2024 exam was conducted again in June 23rd 2024 which resulted in 1,563 applicants who received grace marks. The results will be announced on June 30th, 2024. If a candidate opts not to retake the exam and achieve a passing score, their score will be revised according to the original score of NEET 2024, minus grace marks. The scorecard for the NEET 2024 retake will be deemed as the definitive result for individuals participating in the exam. The NEET 2024 examination will be conducted collectively for all eligible candidates.
