Q1.Is the NEET UG 2026 re-exam officially confirmed?
The re-exam date is for Sunday, June 21, 2026. The NTA cancelled the exam on May 3 and published the complete NEET UG 2026 re-test calendar.
Q2.Is registration required again for re-exam?
No new registration is required for re-exam. Students who were registered for the initial exam on May 3 will have their eligibility for the re-test automatically considered.
Q3.Is city of examination for re-NEET 2026 modifiable?
NTA provided an option to those registered for NEET 2026 to modify their city of examination for a limited time of one week, until May 21, 2026. Students who modified their city will, based on the new city of examination, choose from the available options. Students who missed this opportunity will retain their previously selected city of examination.
Q4.Is the re-exam offline or online?
The NEET UG 2026 re-test will be an offline exam conducted in the pen-and-paper format, using a physical question book and OMR sheets. It is most likely that NEET will adopt a Computer Based Test (CBT) format from the following year.
