JEE Main 2026 Exam Centres List (India & Abroad)
The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts JEE Main in hundreds of centres in India and internationally so that no aspirant is left behind. The centres will be given according to the preferences in which the candidates have indicated when applying. The test is administered in Computer Based Test (CBT) at approved centres.
NTA has posted the official list of JEE Main 2026 exam centres on jeemain.nta.nic.in. The test will be conducted in 323 centres (15 out of India) and 33 new centres will be introduced in India in 2026.

Allotment of JEE Main 2026 Exam Centres
The applications are on a first come first serve basis and the exam centres of JEE Main 2026 are randomly distributed. In the application, you will have a chance to give four cities of preference, the most preferred first, the least preferred last.
Seat booking in every centre is based on the existing availability. In the cases where seats are available, you will be allocated the centre which will have available seats at that time. In case your first-choice centre is occupied, the following city will be provided in your list. When a centre is allocated, it is not possible to change the location of exams once it has been assigned.

Verification of JEE Main Exam Centre 2026 using Admit Card
It is only through the admit card in which the candidates will be able to confirm the centre of the exams of JEE Main 2026. The JEE Main 2026 Admit card contains all the information regarding the exam center allotted, and the address is also written on it. Thus, the candidates must download the JEE Mains 2026 hall ticket to attempt the JEE Main exam as soon as it is released on the official portal of NTA. To get the JEE Main 2026 admit card, students should follow the steps mentioned below.
- Go to JEE Main website, jeemain.nta.nic.in.
- Select the JEE Main 2026 Admit Card option.
- Type in your application number and date of birth to log in.
- Get the admit card and print it.
- Check the details mentioned on the admit card like the name of the exam centre, full address, city, exam date, shift and reporting time carefully.

JEE Main 2026 Exam Centre List: India & Abroad
The full updated list of exam centres is now available on the NTA's official portal. 323 cities and 15 foreign cities are part of the exam centre this year.
To prevent duplication and preserve a balance in candidate density, 33 new exam centre cities have been added this year, while 7 have been eliminated. The official JEE Main Centre list for 2026 is provided below. The corresponding cities' city codes are mentioned.
