Punjab NEET Counselling Process 2025

Punjab NEET UG 2025 counselling will be carried out through several rounds - Round 1, Round 2, Mop-Up, and Stray Vacancy Round (it can be conducted in case of necessity). Thus, the process it usually works is:

1. Online Registration: Only eligible candidates are expected to get registered online via BFUHS NEET UG portal.
2. Merit List Release: Announcement of the Punjab NEET UG merit list 2025 of those who pass NEET will be announced after checking the domicile and academic eligibility set by BFUHS.
3. Choice Filling and Locking: The applicants are to choose and lock in their preferences in medical and dental colleges of Punjab.
4. Seat Allotment: Seat allotment is done according to the NEET 2025 rank, choices filled, punjab NEET counselling seat matrix and reservation.

Punjab NEET Counselling 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility conditions to take part in Punjab MBBS/BDS counselling 2025 shows that the applicants meet the following eligibility norms:

• Passed NEET UG 2025 (cut off qualification).
• Passed Class 12 in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English.
• General category: 50% in PCB
• SC/ST/OBC: 40%
• PWD(General): 45%
• Age limit: 17 years of age as on 31st December 2025.
• Domicile Criteria:
• The candidate should be a Punjab domicile holder.
• Punjab Government or the central government employees who are posted in Punjab can also apply.

Note: The NRI candidates may apply under NRI quota seats in the private medical/ dental hospitals.
